2D Condensation Risk Assessment
Project-scale condensation risk assessment of façade junctions using 2D thermal modelling.
Scope
Assessment of façade and building-envelope junctions, typically covering 20–30+ details per project, to determine minimum internal surface temperatures and identify thermally critical areas.
Method
Construction details are modelled in Flixo using the specified geometry, materials and boundary conditions. The resulting temperature field is analysed to identify the minimum internal surface temperature at each junction and assess surface condensation risk.
Output
Minimum internal surface temperatures and condensation-risk assessment for each detail, compiled into a consistent project-wide calculation package.
